New AVATAR :After AIM
Well,in short I joined as Business Analyst at Syntel Inc,India for a Credit Card Client. The Profile demands one to perform on daily basis. The Consulting Skills and other Management Skills are really helpful.I would have been appreciated more Indian B Schools(except I..'s) if they have same education Level as AIM.
In addition, while I was AIM people /Alumnus tend to say that after AIM MBA one can feel the difference at work place.Having 6.5 yrs of IT Experience,I was thinking its just a word of Mouth.
But,believe me the TRUTH is AIMites are far ahead than any other B School in Asia.Sometimes due to lack of awareness and less knowledge people suspect on AIM.The same thing happened to me, during my interaction with one of the Senior Person at office,he asked me about my Studies and questioned that IS AIM Distance Learning Course!!!! Blah Blah so thats the kind of Image.
Going back to AIM as a Brand..Management Guru say "Product should be able to sell itself and for which you need advertisement that suggests Product is lacking some Quality".Now its a Dilemma ...where should AIM reside?
Its time to say bye as I have to leave office now as its 5:30 PM here and will post very soon about happenings in World. Thanks for your time.

Season2 at AIM
The Sem I is over now.I passed the Exams :)
Learnings "Study Hard and Party Hard"
"Life is Unfair"
It’s time to struggle for Internship/AC and meeting too many people’s out of which 50% is just the wastage of time. Management Control System, Strategic Management and Asian Business System are the new subjects introduced in this Sem and its really important to understand n implement rather than just going thru readings.
Difference between finding the Internship/job in Philippines and India?
1. You have to have personal link/s in Philippines for getting anything done.
2. There is more lack of transparency in Philippines compared to India.
3. In India , you can post u r resume' on Monster/Naukri etc.. and you will get call from Recruiting firm within 1-2 days and they will let u know y are eligible n ask for scheduling Interview OR they let u know the Client requirement and stop further processing. There is no such thing in Philippines.
Common thing between finding the Internship/job in Philippines and India?
1. You always have to be referred by somebody for Job/Internship.
2. No Fair Deal.
3. Fear to hire people who r having no reference.
Company Load: Scrutiny of Documents, Transaction Cost etc.
Applicant Load: Wait for a Call and finish up with some sub-standard job or start own Business (I have appreciate this more if it has come naturally/internally rather than be forced).
I am waiting to be triggered soon, so that I can add-on to blog !!
Thanks
Abhijeet
